Bachelorette Katie Thurston has been in limbo when it comes to her breast cancer treatment plan. She was diagnosed two months ago and just had to cancel her first chemotherapy appointment. There has been misinformation provided to Katie and she is waiting for the final results which will determine her final treatment plan. However, threw it all she says it’s not a death sentence. Bachelorette Katie Thurston Talks More About Cancer Prognosis

Bachelorette Katie Thurston shared another update on her Boobie Broadcast platform on Instagram. Her latest post comes after she was supposed to have her first chemotherapy appointment on Friday. Instead of getting chemo, she went to talk to her physician about two different biopsy results.

One result would mean continuing with chemotherapy and the other would mean a different course of action. The original results are being retested to see if they were given the wrong results in the first place.

In Katie’s latest update to her supporters, she thanked everyone for their words of encouragement and advice. She also revealed that her new husband Jeff Arcuri is back from his comedy tour for a few days. She is hoping that Jeff is there still when she gets the call with her final diagnosis which should be this week sometime.

Katie continued to explain to fans that she will get the results whether or not she is HERS negative or positive. She feels with the extra testing she’s treated as a patient and not just a medical record number. She feels neutral at the moment but also knows that everything has been double-checked.

The Bachelorette also shared that she knows having stage 4 breast cancer sounds scary. She also mentioned the cancer spreading to her liver also sounds scary. However, she’s not letting it get her down. She said, “Regardless of my treatment, I’m optimistic on the outcome of my life. To me, stage 4 is only a medical term and not a boundary on my life.”

Katie concluded her latest update by sharing a quote she came across recently. It read, “I’m more likely to die with cancer than from cancer.” She said it’s just a new roomie she plans to lock inside the basement.

Katie Said Cancer Picked The Wrong Person

Bachelorette Katie Thurston has previously said that cancer picked the wrong person to mess with. She will not allow her diagnosis to be a death sentence. Anyone who knows her knows that she will not quit fighting until she beats it.

Katie remains strong and continues to plan for her future life that she will happily live after cancer. Even though her cancer has spread, she is staying positive and doing whatever it takes to win the battle. Luckily, Katie has Jeff by her side.
