She noted that breast cancer takes the first place in the incidence of cancer in women, cervical cancer — the second, followed by the ovarian cancer and cancer of other organs.
«At least 5,746 patients were identified in 2021, 695 of them (or 12 percent) had breast cancer. These are scary figures,» she said. Men most often get stomach or lung cancer.
Zulfiya Ryskulova noted the importance of detecting the disease at an early stage. For this, in particular, the Family Medicine Centers conduct screening for cervical and breast cancer in women.
