Pink Tie Turns Heads Towards Breast Cancer

In support of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month and Downtown LA Fashion Week, 360 Magazine along with Pink United will host a Red Carpet event at the O Hotel and Lounge on Thursday, October 15, 2009.

LOS ANGELES, CA, October 15, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Complimentary cocktails by Flawless Vodka, The President's Tequila and Neuro will open the event with Gift Bags and a VIP only reception from 9-10pm, followed by the after party for Valentino with special guest, Oliver Tolentino. The party will feature performances from Remedy, Perfect Harmony, and Butterscotch.

360 Magazine joins Pink United in offering guest the opportunity to wear pink to the event. Pink United will also use pictures of guest in pink to add to their wall of "Men Wear Pink Proud".

Pink United recognizes the opportunity to reach and educate a fashion crowd about ways to support programs that fight Breast Cancer. Pink ambassador Cherie Ditcham says "Fashion is a good social motivator. Pink United will use the opportunity to get a fashion conscious crowd together wearing pink during October to show support for a good cause and spread a trend for social change".

In response to the widespread media featuring influential people across the globe wearing Pink this month for Breast Cancer awareness, Pink United and 360 Magazine are excited to host this Pink tie event to represent a joint proactive and compassionate stance on Breast Cancer.
